Text message terms

The program

Clinics that use Viswell can send their own patients appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, and post-visit follow-up reminders by text message. Messages are sent on the clinic's behalf by Lee Software L.L.C. d/b/a Viswell, and identify the clinic by name.

How you opt in

You receive texts only if you agreed to them: at the clinic, where staff record your consent to follow-up texts together with your mobile number, or on the clinic's online booking page, where you enter your own mobile number to receive confirmations and reminders for that appointment. Agreeing is never a condition of care or purchase.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies: typically a confirmation when you book, a reminder before each appointment, and a few follow-up reminders after a visit. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from that clinic's number. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no more after that. Reply HELP for help, or contact your clinic directly. You can also ask your clinic to stop messages at any time.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never sold, and never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the app privacy policy for what is collected and how it is protected.
